Chelsea players returned to Cobham this afternoon with the attention now firmly set on a trip to Everton at the weekend where we will get our Premier League season underway.
The Blues travel to Goodison Park having played three matches while away on our US tour before finalising our pre-season schedule in Italy last weekend with a win over Udinese.
Chelsea have a full week to prepare for this weekend’s clash with Frank Lampard’s side, looking to better the result from our visit there last season in which we narrowly lost 1-0.
New signings Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling were once again involved in Thomas Tuchel’s training session, as were last weekend’s goalscorers N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher were also involved
