Chelsea negotiations ‘completely stuck’ as club demands high asking price

Chelsea are not only trying to sign a few more players before the transfer window ends next week, they are also trying to offload a few as well.

The Blues have some players in their ranks who want to leave, or are now surplus to requirements, and there is some big work to do before the window closes.

Hakim Ziyech is certainly one of those looking to leave and Chelsea are looking to sell. According to reports in Holland today though, negotiations are ‘completely stuck’ due to Chelsea demanding an asking price that is deemed too high.

Ajax want to resign him but Chelsea are only open to a permanent deal and want around £37m. Chelsea only paid £33m for the winger and since then he’s only ever been a rotation player. So if this fee IS correct, it’s a bit daft from us in my view
