Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has dropped a massive hint that his time as a Barcelona player is over.
A video posted by journalist Samuel Marsden seemed to show him wave goodbye to fans, as he was substituted in the second half of a mid-season charity friendly against Manchester City.
The Gabonese star found the net with a powerful volley in the first half, levelling the scores for the first time in a game which ended in a 3-3 draw
The German has elected to choose the same front three of Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz, with them all yet to find the net during this season.
This has seen them come in for some criticism, with Havertz in particular taking his fair share of hits in the media.
Aubameyang seemingly waves goodbye
Aubameyang would certainly bring a goalscoring pedigree to the side, with him performing in England before as an Arsenal player.
Blues fans were handed encouragement last night that a deal could be on the cards before the next round of fixtures, with it certainly seeming that an emotional-looking Aubameyang was saying goodbye during the friendly at the Nou Camp.
His time in the Premier League brought him a lot of praise, with Gary Neville previously describing him as “world-class.”
