Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur were linked with Robert Lewandowski in the summer transfer window before the striker left Bayern Munich for Barcelona.

90min reported on May 17 that with Lewandowski itching to leave Bayern at the time, the Poland international striker was offered to Arsenal and Tottenham.
Agent Pini Zahavi also offered the 34-year-old striker to Manchester United and Chelsea as well.
In the end, Lewandowski switched to Barcelona where he has been starring ever since.
According to ESPN, Barcelona paid Bayern €45 million (£39.06 million) in transfer fees for Lewandowski.
The former Borussia Dortmund star has taken to La Liga like a duck to water and has been banging in the goals for fun.
ARSENAL AND TOTTENHAM-LINKED LEWANDOWSKI STARS AGAIN
Lewandowski was in action for Barcelona against Cadiz away from home in La Liga this past weekend.
The 34-year-old, who could have starred for Arsenal or Tottenham, scored a goal and gave two assists.
Xavi’s side won 4-0.
Lewandowski has now scored six goals and given two assists in four La Liga starts for Barcelona this season.
The Barcelona no. 9 has also three goals in one UEFA Champions League match for Barcelona to his name this season.
