Arsenal defensive midfielder has returned to full training for the Gunners ahead of the Premier League match against Brentford this coming weekend, according to CBS Sports journalist James Benge.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that he has been told that Partey is back in full training for Arsenal now.
The Mirror reported last week that Partey has not been played in any of Arsenal’s last four matches due to a recurring thigh problem.
THOMAS PARTEY INJURY BOOST FOR ARSENAL
In our view, Thomas Partey returning to full training ahead of the match against Brentford is a massive boost to Arsenal in their quest to pick up all three points from the Premier League match.
Today is only Monday.
There is still enough time for Partey to get fully match-fit and at least take to the substitutes’ bench against the Bees.
Thomas Partey is a strong presence in the middle of the park for Arsenal and protects the back-line well.
Moreover, as reported by CBS Sports in March 2022, Partey is also a very vocal presence in the Arsenal dressing room.
We think that if Partey is back in the matchday squad against Brentford, then it will enhance Arsenal’s chances of winning the London derby.
