Brentford manager Thomas Frank has raved about Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus and his Gunners teammate Martin Odegaard, as quoted in Football.London.
Frank has said that Jesus has been a fantastic signing for Arsenal.
The Bees manager made the comments ahead of the Premier League game between Brentford and Arsenal on Sunday.
The £265,000-a-week (Spotrac) Brazil international striker moved to Arsenal from defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Jesus has scored three goals and given three assists in six Premier League appearances for the Gunners so far this season.
The 25-year-old has also played 12 minutes in the UEFA Europa League for Mikel Arteta’s side this campaign.
THOMAS FRANK ON ARSENAL STRIKER GABRIEL JESUS
Frank said: “I know Saliba came back, Jesus has been a fantastic signing.
“And I think Odegaard, the way he plays at this moment in time, De Bruyne is a decent player, but he’s not far off him in terms of performances.”
Both Brentford and Arsenal are playing well at the moment, and the London derby between the two Premier League teams will be massive.
The Bees will fancy their chances of winning the match as they are at home, but Arsenal do have the better team.
Odegaard and Jesus are in brilliant form at the moment, and they could combine to destroy Brentford.
We predict a 2-1 or a 3-1 win for Arsenal against Brentford in the London derby.
