‘There’s nothing’: Richard Keys sends Arsenal fans a brutal message

Richard Keys has written on his personal website that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will not challenge for the Premier League title this season.

The beIN SPORT presenter has said that while Arsenal are doing extremely well at the moment, the Emirates Stadium faithful should not expect the team to maintain their current form for the rest of the season.

The former Sky Sports presenter has also praised Arsenal manager Arteta and the North London club’s Technical Director Edu for being able to get rid of some of the players who were not performing.

RICHARDS KEYS ON ARSENAL

Keys wrote on his personal website: “Arsenal are the team that can be most satisfied about their start to the season.

“But that’s all it’s been. A great start. No more. No less. There’s nothing to celebrate just yet.

“The Gunners are in a much happier place than they were a year ago mind you. And I repeat what I’ve already said about the business they’ve done.

“It took some courage to get rid of the dead wood. Edu and Arteta can take a great deal of credit for that.

“What they’ve got now appears to be a vibrant young side that should finish in the top four – and might even mount a title challenge, although I still believe that’s a way off yet. But there’s no question that they’ve made huge progress.”

STAYING POSITIVE

In our opinion, Arsenal fans should stay positive about their season.

We do not think that any Arsenal supporter thinks that the team will win the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal fans are well aware that Manchester City have the best team in England.

The main objective for the Gunners this season has always been to finish in the UEFA Champions League.

And we are confident that Arteta and his Arsenal players will not get carried away by their truly stunning start to the Premier League season.
