It seems absolutely ages ago now that Arsenal wanted to sign Dusan Vlahovic.
The Gunners tried to sign the then-Fiorentina hitman in January but he wound up joining Juventus in a £66 million deal [Sky Sports] instead.
However, nine months on, the 22-year-old could and probably does regret snubbing a transfer to Arsenal.
And that’s because at the moment, you’d be much happier in North London than you would be in Turin.
Massimiliano Allegri has overseen a dreadful start to the Serie A campaign as Juve sit eighth in the standings.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are sitting top of the Premier League table after seven games.
Mikel Arteta has overseen six victories and one defeat in this competition thus far and with Gabriel Jesus playing out of his skin, and scoring again at the weekend to make it four goals since arriving in a £45 million summer deal, well it’s safe to say that nobody affiliated with the Emirates Stadium outfit is even thinking about Vlahovic anymore.
Of course, things could turn very quickly.
Within weeks, Juve could be top dogs in Italy and Arsenal could be eighth in the Premier League table.
But for now, Vlahovic is more than likely questioning his decision to reject Arteta in favour of the Italian giants.
